What is the Human Papilloma Virus? (HPV)

HPV is the abbreviation of Human Papilloma Virus, so known under the term Papillomavirus. In the majority of the cases, the HPV is transmitted by sexual contact, and it is estimated that HPV is the principal infection sexually transmissible (STI) in the United States, UK and Australia.
